Playa Canela is a Bed & Breakfast hotel boutique, the rate includes an American breakfast.

CHECK-IN | CHECK-OUT

• Check-In is from 15:00
• Check-Out is at 12:00* (noon)

* Depending on the availability of the hotel, the Check-Out time may be extended, with surcharge.

Please note that at the time of Check-Out a detailed inspection of the room is carried out and we reserve the right to charge for any damage found in the room.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

• Reservations are made with the advanced payment of 50% of the total value, with the exception of the dates between December 19 and January 2nd, and Carnival and Easter holidays, in which the advanced full payment is required. The hotel has the right to cancel the reservation if we do not receive the advanced payment.
• On holidays please consult the minimum number of days per reservation.
• The full balance must be paid upon arrival, at the time of Check-In. Please note that Check-In cannot be completed until full payment has been received and approved.
• When booking, keep in mind the maximum occupancy rules per room type. Children over 3 years old pay full rate.
• A valid photo ID will be required at Check-In. Minors only with a responsible adult.
• Payments can be made by wire transfer, Visa or MasterCard credit cards.
•  In the case of advance payments with wire transfers, please contact us at +593 99 147 4641 to coordinate and register your payment.

CANCELLATIONS

• The paid value for a reservation will be refundable if the cancellation is made at least 7 days in advance of the reserved dates, and once the wire transfer has been received in our account. If the payment was done with a credit card, a 30% fee will be retained for bank processing.
• For reservations made on the dates between December 19 and January 2nd, and Carnival and Easter holidays, the amounts paid for reservations are not refundable in case of cancellation.
• In case of no-show or early departure, the full stay will be charged for the total days reserved.

NO SMOKING POLICY

• The hotel is a smoke-free zone. Smoking is not allowed in our rooms, nor in the bathrooms.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE

• The hotel is not responsible for items lost or left on the premises.
• Room cleaning is done from 11:00 am. If you do not want this service, please tell the administration.
• Private individuals are not allowed to enter the facilities. If the guest is going to receive visitors they must notify the administration in advance, our facilities are for the exclusive use of our guests. If your visitors would like to use the facilities (pool, jacuzzi, etc.) they will have to pay a $30 fee per person (adults and children).
• Playa Canela is a place of rest, loud noises, loud music, or any type of scandal that disturbs the tranquility and wellbeing of other guests is not allowed.
• The entrance door closes at 11:00 p.m.; if you are planning on returning past this hour, you must inform the administration in advance to coordinate your entry.
• The hotel reserves the right to prevent the entry of people who are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or who, due to their attitude, disturb the tranquility and rest of the other guests.
• People who have a discriminatory, intimidating or violent treatment against the guests and/or hotel staff, will be required to leave without the option of any refund.

PARKING

• Free parking at the hotel is subject to availability.
• If the parking lot is full when you arrive, you can park on the street in front of the hotel.
• The hotel is not responsible for the integrity of your vehicle or the belongings that are inside.

USE OF THE POOL AND JACUZZI

• The outdoor pool and jacuzzi can be used from 8 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
• For your own safety it is not allowed to run around the pool. The guest understands and assumes the risks of using it.
• Children must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult when using the pool and jacuzzi.
• The hotel has an external shower at the entrance yard. Guests entering after having been on the beach must use the external shower to rinse off before using the pool.
• The use of the private jacuzzi and the spa are not included in the price. To use them you must book in advance with the administration.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

• The hotel offers soft and alcoholic drinks at an additional cost. The entry of alcoholic beverages not purchased in the establishment is not allowed, except if it is with the authorization of the administration with an extra fee.

PETS

• Pets are allowed only with prior authorization from the administration and acceptance of the pet handling conditions, for which a surcharge will be charged for the pet.
• Pets may not be left alone or unattended in the rooms, and while in common spaces they must remain on a leash and under the strict supervision of their owners at all times.
